Principals Message
Dear Families,
Wow, it's hard to believe we're already halfway through the school year! We've had such a busy and rewarding time so far, with plenty more exciting learning opportunities and events still to come.
I'm pleased to share some exciting news with you: we have a building project currently out to tender, set to begin next term. This project involves the addition of a new classroom and a smaller group learning space on the south-western corner of the school. These new spaces will connect to the existing Year 3–4 classrooms.
This addition isn't about expanding our enrolment numbers, but rather about providing greater flexibility in how we use our learning spaces. It’s the first stage of our new master plan, developed last year, with a focus on adaptable learning spaces that continue to support collaboration and innovation.
Construction is scheduled to commence next term, with the goal of completing the build in time for the start of the next school year. We are working closely with the builders to ensure that disruption to learning is kept to a minimum throughout the process.
Please see below for concept drawings of the new learning space.
Thank you to all families and staff for your ongoing support and for helping make the first half of the year so successful. We wish all our students a fun and restful holiday and we look forward to welcoming them back for two more terms of fantastic learning.
Kind regards,
Julian
